Gabriel Bá and Fábio Moon were born in São Paulo, Brazil, in June 1976, and are identical twins. Together they have contributed to various publications and anthologies including “Autobiographix,” “De:TALES,” “Pixu,” “Atelier,” and “5 (Five),” the latter of which won them their first Eisner Award for Best Anthology in 2008. Their most recent collaborations include “BPRD: 1947,” a spin-off set within the Hellboy Universe, and “Daytripper,” a very personal story which the pair wrote and drew for DC Comics/Vertigo.
Gabriel Bá’s solo comics illustration work includes collaborations with Matt Fraction on “Casanova Volume 1: Luxuria,” and “The Umbrella Academy Volumes 1 & 2” with author Gerard Way, of the band My Chemical Romance.
Fábio Moon’s solo comics illustration work includes collaborations with Matt Fraction on “Casanova Volume 2: Gula,” and “Sugar Shocks” with author Joss Whedon (creator of Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Firefly), which appeared in Myspace Dark Horse Presents and as a single-issue one-shot.
